A Mass Care Boot Camp is being hosted by the American Red Cross of Central Texas. Hurricane Alex is only the beginning of hurricane season and the Red Cross wants to ensure that we are prepared for any future hurricane or disaster. When a shelter is opened in Central Texas, volunteers need to be trained to respond. The boot camp will offer training in shelter protocols and evacuee assistance.
